I finally have a new sailor dress :)

For about a year now I've wanted a replacement to one of my navy sailor dresses, and I finally have one, and it is so beautiful, so well made, the cut is superb and the attention to detail is incredible, even the tag that was attached had a lovely little bow on it!
The dress is from a site called Miss.Patina, they are a group of designers from the London college of fashion, and a lot of their pieces are retro/vintage inspired
The detailing is all hand finished as well , which ensures such quality

Apologies for my scruffiness , just got back from a hospital appt and a shopping trip;)

The buttons are lovely, real metal, unlike a lot of sailory dresses I've looked at

The piping on the bottom and little bow detail on the pocket, really sweet



Here's the collar, which I love, its so sharp and really stands out




And a view from the back, I love the vertical lines of material, and that the collar detail carries on to the back of the dress :)

My shoes are from Steve Madden (actually you can't see them as I didn't upload the full body shot, but yes they are from steve madden, and they are ridiculously high and amazing)
My Socks are from ASOS
My Sunglasses are from H&M, as seen in previous posts

Another one of those alice in wonderland posts

Helloo :) So before the UK release of the new Alice in wonderland film, one of my lovlies had a themed tea party, I was the queen of hearts, make up wise I took my inspiration from this amongst a few other things

Make up :
Estee Lauder Doublewear foundation in bone

Estee Lauder Doublewear Black Mascara
Collection 2000 black eyeliner
MAC powder blush in 'Pink Swoon'
Barry red M lipliner



This was the result, not the best picture, but all I have to show you

Outfit wise
Cape - Real Mcoy (Vintage Store)
Dress (that you can only see the top of) H&M
Netted Puffy Skirt - Gap Kids
Knee Highs - Asos
Shoes - Steve Madden

To fix the crown to my head I added a ribbon and threaded it through the crown, then secured it with kurby grips
I added elastic black beaded bracelets to the red cape to make it stay on & red metallic cardboardhearts to the crown, my shoes and found a miniature deck of cards and added all the heart ones to the netting on the skirt, added a red ribbon round my waist and a necklace given to my by a friend and you're done
